Welcome to the Parent Finance Forum! 🎉 We’re glad you’re here. This community exists to help parents — especially new moms and dads — share practical tips, advice, and support on managing money while raising kids. To keep the space safe, useful, and respectful, please follow these rules:

1. Respect Comes First

  • Treat every member with kindness.

  • Disagreements are okay — personal attacks are not.

  • No hate speech, harassment, or discrimination of any kind.

2. Stay On Topic

  • Keep discussions related to parenting, family finances, budgeting, saving, investing, debt, and money hacks for parents.

  • Off-topic posts belong in designated off-topic areas (if available).

  • Spam, self-promotion, and irrelevant content will be removed.

3. Share, Don’t Sell

  • You may recommend apps, books, or products only if they genuinely help parents.

  • Affiliate links, ads, or promotions require moderator approval.

  • Posting solely to sell services or products = removal.

4. Protect Privacy

  • Do not post personal information (yours or others).

  • Screenshots with sensitive details (addresses, account numbers, children’s info) must be blurred or removed.

5. Keep It Clean & Safe

  • No NSFW or offensive content.

  • No scams, misleading advice, or dangerous financial “shortcuts.”

  • Misinformation flagged by moderators will be corrected or removed.

6. One Account Per Person

  • Multiple or fake accounts aren’t allowed.

  • If you’re locked out, contact a moderator instead of creating a new account.

7. Moderators Have Final Say

  • Mods may edit, move, or remove posts that break rules.

  • Persistent rule-breaking can result in suspension or banning.

8. Contribute Positively

  • Ask clear questions, give thoughtful answers.

  • Mark solved threads where possible.

  • Welcome new members — we grow stronger together.
